Kothu Porotta(scrambled Indian Spiral bread)

Serving:2 |Type: Chettinadu special

Ingredients:

 

Porotta(readymade) -6 or 8
Onion (chopped) -½ cup
Tomato(chopped) -¼ cup
Green chili(chopped) -3
Turmeric -¼tsp
Salt -to taste
Oil -3tbsp
Chili Powder -½tsp
Chalna Gravy -¾ cup
Coriander Leaves -2tbsp

 

Method:

 

 

 

  1. Take the porotta make it like small pieces and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add onion and green chili sauté with 2 minutes then add tomato, turmeric and salt sauté until tomato get mash.
  3. Then add chili powder mix well now add porotta pieces cook well .
  4. Now add chalna  cook well for 3 to 5 minutes .
  5. Add coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
  6. Serve with chalna.

Note:

  1. You can add 3 eggs while cook the porotta. This dish called egg kothu porotta.
  2. Porotta is store bought. You can get it any Indian stores.
