Lemon Rice

Serving:2 |Type: Rice Varieties

Ingredients:

Cooked Rice -1 ½ cup
Oil -3tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tbsp
Channa Dhal(optional) -2tbsp
Green Chili(slit) -3
Red Chili -1
Ginger(chopped) -1tsp
Turmeric Powder -½tsp
Curry Leaves -few
Lemon Juice -3tbsp
Coriander Leaves(chopped) -1tbsp

 

Method:

  1. Cook the rice with salt and 1tsp oil, which should help separate the grains.
  2. Place the rice in a big vessel to cool it down and  keep it aside.
  3. Take a pan heat with oil, add mustard, let it crackle.
  4.  Then add all other things fry for 1 minute, then add turmeric powder and pinch salt, then turn off the stove.
  5. Now add lemon juice.
  6. Then add it into the rice mix well.
  7. Now ready to serve.
