Milagu Jeraga Oats (Black Pepper Cumin With Oats)

Ingredients:

Oats(cooked) -2cups
Ghee -2tbsp
Pepper Powder -2tbsp
Cumin Powder -1tsp
Curry Leaves -few
Salt -to taste

Method:

  1. Take the steel cut oats and cook with water in the pressure cooker for 1 whistle and then place in sim for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with ghee, add pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and curry leaves and sauté.
  3. Then add the cooked oats and  sauté for 2 to 3 minutes then turn off the stove.
  4. Serve with any kind of kootu or more kuzhambu.

Note:

  1. While seasoning you can add cashew nuts for extra crunch.
