Moolai Poriyal (Goat Brain Dry Curry)

Goat Brain -1 or 2
Onion -½ cup
Tomato -½ cup
Chili Powder -1tsp
Pepper Powder -1tsp
Garam Masala -½tsp
Turmeric -pinch
Salt -to taste
Oil -1tbsp
Sombu -½tsp
Red Chili -1
Green Chili -1



  1. Clean and wash the brain, Cut like chunk 3 or 4 pieces.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
  3. Add onion sauté for 1 minute then add tomato, salt and turmeric sauté until tomato get soft.
  4. Then add chili powder mix well, now add brain sauté gently.
  5. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then add garam masala, and pepper powder.
  6. Let it cook for 1 more minute then garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Serve with white rice.
