Pasi Paruppu Mullangi Poriyal(Radish with mung Dhal)

Serving: 4 | Type: Veg-Poriyal


Mullangi(diced) -2cups
Onion(cut) -½ cup
Green chili(slit) -4 to 6
Pasi Paruppu -½ cup
Turmeric -¼tsp
Salt -to taste
Coriander Leaves -few



Oil -2tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -1tsp
Curry Leaves -few


  1. Soak the pasi paruppu for 3 hours and keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning.
  3. Now add onion, green chili sauté for 1 minute then add turmeric and salt.
  4. Then add mullangi mix well cook it for 4 to 6 minutes.
  5. Then add soaked pasi paruppu sauté for a minute then cover with lid let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes with ¼ cup of water.
  6.  Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Serve with rice.
