Onion Chutney

 

Serving: 3 |Type: Breakfast-Side dish

Ingredients:

Onion(chopped) -1cup
Green chili(cut) -3 to6
Ginger(Chopped) -1tbsp
Channa Dhal -2tbsp
Urad Dhal -2tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Tamarind -small marble size
Salt -to taste
Oil -1tbsp

Method:

  1. Take a pan heat with oil add mustard, channa dhal and urad dhal fry without burning.
  2. Then add onion, green chili and ginger sauté for 2 to 3 minutes and turn off the stove.
  3. Let it cool then grind with tamarind and salt.
  4. Do not over grind like paste.
  5. If you want you can season with little oil, add mustard and urad dhal fry without burning add it into the chutney.
  6. Serve with any tiffin variety.
