Sepankizhangu Roast(Small Taro or Colocasia Fries)

Serving: 3 | Type: Veg – Side dish



Sepankizhangu(Boiled) -8(medium size)
Chili Powder -1tsp
Turmeric -¼tsp
Salt -to taste
Oil -For frying



  1. Mix chili powder, salt and turmeric and keep it aside.
  2. Cut the kizhangu length wise(each kizhangu should be into 6 pieces) and spread the masala powder and mix it well.
  3. Keep it marinate for 1 to 2 hours .
  4. Heat the oil in the frying pan on medium flame.
  5. Fry the kizhangu like 4 to 5 pieces at a time like golden.
  6. This should be not very crisp or very soft.
  7. Serve with rice.
