Thengai Mallithalai Thovayal(Coconut-Coriander leaves Chutney)

Grated Coconut -3tbsp
Coriander Leaves -2cups(chopped)
Onion, tomato(Chopped) -¼ cup
Tamarind -tiny marble size
Salt -to taste
Oil -1tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -2tbsp
Asafotida -Pinch
Red Chili -5 to 8



  1. Take a pan heat with oil add seasonings fry without burning, add onion sauté for a minute or two.
  2. Then add coriander leaves sauté for a minute then turn off the stove.
  3. Grind with coconut, salt, tamarind and little water.
  4. Serve with idly or dosa.
