Vazhalaipoo Thol(madal) Thovayal(Banana Flower Skin Chutney)

Vazhalaipoo Thol(Chopped) -1 cup
Oil -2tbsp
Mustard -1tsp
Urad Dhal -2tbsp
Red Chili -6 to 8
Chana Dhal -2tbsp
Asafotida -¼tsp
Tamarind -small marble size
Salt -to taste
Curry Leaves -few


  1. Take a pan with oil add seasonings fry without burning then keep it aside.
  2. Same pan sauté chopped thol for 3 to 4 minutes and keep it aside.
  3. Grind seasoning thing first, then add thol, salt and tamarind grind with little water.
  4. Serve with white rice, idly or dosa.
