Aval Sweet Kozhukattai (Flatten Rice) Poha

Serving: 10 to 12 pieces | Type: Vinayagar Chathurthi Special/Snack

Ingredients:

Thick Aval(Poha) -1cup
Sugar -½ to ¾ cup
Grated Coconut -Hand full
Ghee -1 to 2tbsp
Salt -pinch

 

Method:

  1. Wash the Aval and drain the water and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Then mix everything and make a medium size balls and keep it aside.
  3. Take the Idly steamer and pour the water and let it boil the water.
  4. Now arrange the kuzhalakattai on the steamer and steam it for 5 minutes and cover with lid.
  5. Then take out from the steamer and serve it.
