Banana Nut Cake

Serving: 20 to 25 Pieces| Type: Desert



All-purpose Flour(Maida0 -1 ½ cup
Sugar -1cup
Cooking oil Or Melted Butter -½ cup
Banana -3
Large Egg -2
Baking Soda -1tsp
Vanilla Essence -1tbsp
Walnut(Chopped) -½ cup(optional)
Salt -2pinch



  1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F (175˚C)
  2. Take 8” round pan, grease it with butter and dust with flour lightly.
  3. Meanwhile mash the banana with a fork or with hand and keep it aside.
  4. Combine flour, soda and salt sieve it well and keep it aside.
  5. Take a bowl, beat sugar and oil together for 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Now add egg one by one and mix it well until it becomes creamy.
  7. Then add mashed banana, essence and  mix well.
  8. Now add flour mix it very gently.
  9. Then add chopped nut and mix well.
  10. Pour the mixture into the greased pan and place it into the preheated oven.
  11. Bake it for 40 to 60 minutes.
  12. Then check  with a skewer.
  13. If stick it to the skewer, then bake it for another  5 more minutes.
  14. Then take out from the oven, let it cool for 20 to 30 minutes.
  15. Cut it and serve it.
