Ingredients:

Thavalavadai_mavu_with coconut

Raw Rice ¼ cup
Boiled Rice ¼ cup
Thuvar Dhal ¼ cup
Channa Dhal ¼ cup
Mung Dhal ¼ cup
Urad Dhal ¼ cup
Red chili 5 to 7
Sombu 1tsp
Coconut(Thinly cut) 3tbsp
Curry leaves -few
Coriander leaves -few
Salt -to taste
Oil -for deep fry

Method:

  1. Soak the all rice and dhal for 3 to 5 hours.
  2. Then grind with chili and Sombu like coarse.
  3. Then mix all other ingredients except oil.
  4. Consistency should be not thick or thin.
  5. Take a pan heat with oil on medium flame.
  6. Take medium spoon of batter and pour it into the hot oil.
  7. Let it cook for both sides and take out from the oil.
  8. Serve it hot.
