Ingredients:
Cooked Rice | -1cup |
Wheat flour | -2cups |
Chili Powder | -1 to 2tsp |
Cumin | -1tsp |
Salt | -to taste |
Oil | -2tbsp |
Turmeric | -¼tsp |
Method:
- Any leftover cooked rice can be used to make this chappati.
- In a mixer grind, rice and salt with little water (Not too watery or smooth).
- First mix together all the dry ingredients.
- Then add oil, the ground rice and necessary amount of water into a smooth dough.
- Lightly drizzle oil on the dough, so the dough does not dry out.
- Then allow it set for 30 min – 1 hour.
- Afterwards take a small piece of the dough and roll it out into a flat circle.
- Then cook the chappati on both sides on a hot pan with oil.
- It can be served, best with raitha.
