Masala Chappati

Serving:15 pieces | Type: Roti


Cooked Rice -1cup
Wheat flour -2cups
Chili Powder -1 to 2tsp
Cumin -1tsp
Salt -to taste
Oil -2tbsp
Turmeric -¼tsp


  1. Any leftover cooked rice can be used to make this chappati.
  2. In a mixer grind, rice and salt with little water (Not too watery or smooth).
  3. First mix together all the dry ingredients.
  4. Then add oil, the ground rice and necessary amount of water into a smooth dough.
  5. Lightly drizzle oil on the dough, so the dough does not dry out.
  6. Then allow it set for 30 min – 1 hour.
  7. Afterwards take a small piece of the dough and roll it out into a flat circle.
  8.  Then cook the chappati on both sides on a hot pan with oil.
  9. It can be served, best with raitha.
