No Onion,Gralic, veg pulav


Basmathi Rice -2cups
Mixed veg -2cups
Cabbage(chopped) -1cup
Turmeric -¼tsp
Tomato(chopped) -1
Clove -4
Cinnamon stick -1inch
Bay Leaves -2
Oil and ghee -3tbsp
Coconut Milk -¼ cup
Salt -to taste
Coriander Leaves(chopped) -2tbsp
Water -4 to 5


Coarse Grind without Water:

Green Chili -4 to 8
Ginger -1tbsp
Mint or coriander leaves -¼ bunch



  1. Mixed Veg: Carrot, Peas, Cauli flower and beans.
  2. Soak the rice for 15 to 20 minutes and drain the water and keep it aside.
  3. Take a heavy bottom vessel heat with oil.
  4. Add seasonings fry without burning then add cabbage and ground green chili.
  5. Sauté until cabbage color changes little then add turmeric, salt and coriander leaves.
  6. Sauté well then add vegetables sauté for 2 minutes.
  7. Now add soaked rice mix well and sauté for 2 minutes.
  8. Then add coconut milk and water.
  9. Mix well then let it boil on high flame.
  10. After bubble comes then cover with lid and turn the stove on to very low flame.
  11. Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes, do not open the lid and do not stir it in between.
  12.  Then turn off the stove and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
  13. Now mix it and serve it with any side dish.
