Urad Dhal -¼ cup
Channa Dhal -¼ cup
Masoor Dhal -¼ cup
Thoor Dhal -¼ cup
Turmeric -½tsp
Oil -1tsp
Green chili -2

Ghee -2tbsp
Onion(chopped) -1cup
Tomato(chopped) -½ cup
Green chili(chopped) -1
Red Chili -1
Ginger(chopped) -1tbsp
Garlic(chopped) -4 pods
Chili Powder -1tsp
Cumin Powder -½tsp
Garam Masala -1tsp
Coriander leaves -few
Lemon Juice -1tbsp
Salt -to taste

 Punchmel dhal In stove


  1. Soak all dhal for 4 hours.
  2. Now boil the dhal with other ingredient’s on the stove top on medium flame.
  3. Until dhal get soft.
  4. Take a pan heat with ghee add onion, ginger, garlic, green chili and red chili sauté for a minute.
  5. Then add tomato sauté until tomato get soft, now add chili, cumin and turmeric powder.
  6. Mix well then add salt.
  7. Then add cooked dhal boil it for 3 minutes.
  8. Now add coriander leaves and lemon juice mix well then turn off the stove.
  9. Serve with chappati or white rice.
