Thai Chili Fried Rice

 

Serving: 2 | Type: Veg Rice

Ingredients:

Raw Rice -1cup
Chili Garlic Paste -3 to 5tbsp
Soy sauce -2tbsp
Sesame Seeds(white) -2tbsp
Onion(sliced),red chilli -1 each
Garlic (Chopped) -3
Sesame Oil -3 to 4tbsp
Salt -to taste

 

Method:

  1. Cook the rice with ½tsp salt, 1tbsp oil and 2 cups of water, spread the rice and let it cool down and keep it aside (Rice grains should be separate, not mushy) .
  2. Take a pan heat with oil add chopped garlic sauté for few seconds, then add onion and red chilli sauté for a minute on medium flame.
  3. Add sesame seeds fry for a second then add chill garlic paste sauté a for a minute, then add cooked rice mix well and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Then add soy sauce mix well check the salt and spicy and then turn off the stove.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Note:

  1. If you want you can add purple cabbage while sauté the onion.
  2. You can use raw rice whatever you want, like basmati, ponni, sona masoori, jasmine or long grain rice’s.
