Ulutha mavuThenkuzhalal (Black Gram Dhal with rice flour)

Serving: 25 to30 pieces | Type: Snack/Deepavali snack

Ingredients:

Raw Rice Flour(Powder) -3cups
Urad Flour -1cup
Cumin -2tsp
Asafetida powder -½tsp
Salt -to taste
Hot oil or Butter -2tbsp
Oil -for deep fry

Method:

 

  1. Mix everything with water and make like chapatti dough.
  2. Take 5 or 3 holes Thenkuzhalal press fills the dough in it.
  3. Take a pan heat with oil on medium high.
  4. Make like a round thenkuzhalal and cook both sides.
  5. Then take out from the oil keep it in the paper towel for observe oil.
  6. Store it in the air tight container.
